D2 had a great time and seemed to catch on really quick, even going to
the toy box and presenting BigD with a yellow toy. A very successful lesson I
hear you say.
This video is her showing off her new skills!
She has become really fond of this "game" and has played it daily since Sunday - My baking session with the surplus chocolate may just have to wait a while.
Toy companies spend millions advertizing complicated "learning games" with audio and visual capabilities and programed "That's Right!" self-esteem raising responces to the childs every move.
ReplyDeleteI think your little game demonstrates how silly and out of touch the toy companies have become. Keep it simple and let the childs imagination take over.
Well done!

Thank you. It really is the simple things - just like cardboard boxes being more fun than the toys they package up.
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting!
ReplyDeleteThank you. I am trying to think of a more permanent substitute. Those foil wrappers are looking pretty sad now!
